The annual conference was hosted by The BSEM jointly with The Allergy Research Foundation at the Hallam Conference Centre, Hallam Street, London W1. The 6 CPD points were awarded by The Royal Society of Medicine and also The Naturopathic Nutrition Association. Presentations on the impact of nutrition, environmental exposures, and microbiota on health through interactions with cellular membranes, mitochondria, immune system, and the brain we made by Professor Ted Dinan, Mr Edward Kane, Professor Aaron Lerner, Dr Sarah Myhill, Dr Shideh Pouria and Professor Yehuda Shoenfeld. Professor Jeremy Nicholson of Imperial College, London was he keynote speaker for the day.
